Have always stuck up for him but hard to justify those comments
Wilshere is the most overated player in the prem, should not be near the squad this summer
Shaw however would be in my squad if he comes back and plays a fair few games between now and the end of the season

Will be the second tournament running that I haven't remotely looked forward too.
Have decent potential England, but that only counts if we have a proper manager in charge who realises there are more than 5/6 clubs in England.

Rashford is clearly a very good young player and a big prospect for the future but when you have the likes of Noble and Cresswell who have been turning it in consistently- and to a lesser extent Antonio- who get overlooked but a teenager who has played less than a full game's worth of minutes for Manchester United gets picked, you have to wonder what is going on.

Roy is a perfectly capable manager. Look how we qualified. Unfortunately he's in a difficult place as all his favourites aren't doing so well. It remains to be seen how we do but I'm not hopeful we'll do any better than any other tournament. Quarters anyone?
